Lenovo has released official documentation for running Linux on the ThinkPad Mobile Workstation product line. Officially supported flavors of Linux at the time of this writing include:
- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and later
- RHEL 8.0.0 and later
- Debian GNU
There has been a demand for running Linux on the Mobile Workstation line from Lenovo. I myself, own a P43s and am considering switching my primary operating system. For now, creating virtual machines in Hyper-V running Linux is sufficient for my needs.
I’ll put more into this article at a later time. As for right now, I just wanted to get the doc’s up and available for others.
