Run VMware natively on Microsoft Azure

If your running your VMware environment on aging hardware and need to get off it quickly, you can leverage CloudSimple’s solution and migrate your virtual machines from your VMware environment onto Microsoft Azure’s Infrastructure until you have more time to transition your workloads to native cloud services.

Microsoft provides a demo and overview of CloudSimple’s Solution in this YouTube video.

Run a bare metal VMware private cloud in Azure without using nested virtualization or re-platforming your virtual machines, thanks to Azure VMware Solution by CloudSimple. Markus Hain from the Azure engineering team walks through the experience coming from an on-premises VMware vSphere environment, provisioning an Azure VMware Solution private cloud, getting both environments to communicate, and what you can do once the service is up and running. We show you how new VMs in can be created in the Azure portal and managed in either vSphere or Azure and how you can leverage the broad set of Azure cloud services with your hybrid environment once you’re up and running. To get started, just search for “vmware” in the Azure portal.
